The following must be original (or verified/certified):

• NZ Driver Licence
• A document from an NZ Electoral Office

The following can be either original or online versions:

• Utility bill
• Bank account statement
• A statement issued by Inland Revenue
• Rates bill
• Car registration document
• Insurance policy document
• Hire purchase statement

*Proof of Residential address must be issued to you within the last three months. (Please note PO Boxes are not accepted).

You can present the information above for certification with one of the following and then forward the certified documents to us via electronic means or post:

• Justice of the Peace
• Solicitor of the High Court
• Deputy Registrar or Judge
• Registrar from tertiary institutions
• Notary Public
• Member of the Police
• Chartered Accountant
• Registered Teacher
• Kaumatua (as verified through a reputable source)
• New Zealand Honorary Consul
• Member of Parliament
• Minister of Religion
• A person who has the legal authority to take statutory declarations or the equivalent in NZ
• Commonwealth representative (as defined in the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957)
