Trusts

• Original or certified copy of the Trust Deed
• Name and Date of Birth for each beneficiary (where there are 10 or fewer beneficiaries in total)
• Each class or type of beneficiary (where there are more than 10 beneficiaries in total)
• The object of the Trust
• Source of wealth or funds

Companies

• Company extract (including all shareholders and directors); and
• Company constitution
• Source of wealth or funds if requested

Incorporated Society/Charitable Trust

• Certificate of Incorporation
• Copy of rules
• Source of wealth or funds if requested

Partnerships

• Original or certified copy of the Partnership Agreement
• Source of wealth or funds if requested



You can present the information above for certification with one of the following and then forward the certified documents to us via electronic means or post:

• Justice of the Peace
• Solicitor of the High Court
• Deputy Registrar or Judge
• Registrar from tertiary institutions
• Notary Public
• Member of the Police
• Chartered Accountant
• Registered Teacher
• Kaumatua (as verified through a reputable source)
• New Zealand Honorary Consul
• Member of Parliament
• Minister of Religion
• A person who has the legal authority to take statutory declarations or the equivalent in NZ
• Commonwealth representative (as defined in the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957)
